Description

CJC-1295, a derivative of hGRF (1-29), is a synthetic human GHRH analog that specifically and permanently attaches to natural albumin after being injected under the skin. This attachment helps to prolong its half-life and effects.

One of its benefits over regular GHRH or rHGH is its potential to bind with serum albumin, which increases its half-life and effectiveness over time. This is achieved by protecting the amino acids of GHRH that are usually broken down by enzymes.

CJC-1295 is a version of GHRH with changes to certain amino acids at positions 2, 8, 15, and 27 (D-Ala, Gln, Ala, and Leu), making the peptide more stable. These changes are important for extending the general half-life of CJC-1295.

Several tests have been taken to test how effective CJC-1295 is. According to the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, a single injection caused a dose-dependent increase in average plasma GH levels by 2-10 times over six days, and IGF-1 levels increased 1.5-3 times for 9-11 days. The average half-life was 5.8-8.1 days, and after numerous doses, IGF-1 levels stayed higher than usual for up to 28 days. No serious side effects were noted in any of the study groups. This peptide can significantly boost growth hormone production.
